SO, LET'S START RIGHT WITH THE ''BASICS '' :
 
THOSE WHO ARE FAMILLIAR WITH THE CONCEPT, OR KNOW WAY MORE THAN I DO ABOUT IT, SKIP THIS INTRO OR READ ON FOR THE FUN OF THE THING...
 
THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO CONTROL THE FLOW OF ENERGY, AND PWM IS ONE OF THE SIMPLEST WAY.
 
HERE WE WILL COMPARE THE TWO MOST COMMON METHODS:
 
 1 ) THE CONSTANT PROPORTIONNAL WAY:
IF YOU NEED SAY, 5 GALLONS OF WATER PER MINUTE TO COOL A PROCESS, YOU CAN OPEN A VALVE JUST ENOUGH TO LET EXACTLY 5 GALLONS OF WATER FLOW IN EXACTLY 1 MINUTE, CONSIDERING THAT IF YOU OPEN THE VALVE FULLY, YOU WOULD GET AROUND 30 GALLONS IN ONE MINUTE, YOU WOULD THEN OPEN THE VALVE BY 1/6 OF ITS CAPACITY.
TO CHANGE THE COOLING OF THE PROCESS, YOU WOULD OPEN OR CLOSE THE VALVE AS NEEDED. 
 
2 ) THE PULSE WIDTH MODULATED WAY :
TAKE THE SAME EXAMPLE AS ABOVE , AND NOW, OPEN THE VALVE FULLY FOR 1/6 OF THE TIME AND YOU GET THE SAME RESULTS . THAT PROPORTION IS CONTROLLED BY A SOLENOID VALVE, THAT IS PULSED BY THE OUTPUT OF THE CONTROL CIRCUIT.
 
( The sequence is fast and the flow of water will appear constant and with the propper accumulator for damping the water shock caused by the closing and opening of the solenoid valve, one will not feel the cycling
of the valve.)
